Anyox Hydro 2020 Update

Apr09
2020

Anyox Hydro was originally founded by a local group of entrepreneurs in 2000. This founding group continues to work diligently towards the completion of our hydroelectric facilities in Northern B.C. In point of fact, never before have we been so excited about the projects, particularly as we have during 2019 entered into discussions with the Villages of Gingolx and Gitwinksihlkw of the Nisga’a Nation to co-develop the projects which are all situated within Nisga’a Treaty Lands.

The journey over the past twenty years, not such a long time for the development of major projects, has been varied but at all times interesting. To keep the wolves at bay, as they say, we have run mining camps for various junior mineral exploration groups (the last BC Hydro call for power was in 2006) and more recently we have been hosting “Ghost Town Tours”, an exciting Northern B.C. Experiential tour program that has steadily grown in popularity each year since its inception. The Ghost Towns of Anyox and Alice Arm continue to fascinate and we hope you stay connected with our periodic updates.
