Anyox Golf Course

During Anyox’s peak years, the Anyox Golf Course was built as part of the town’s recreational facilities. Anyox had various amenities to keep workers entertained, including a theater, a hospital, and sports facilities. The golf course was a product of the town’s prosperity and was likely a small, rustic course designed for the enjoyment of the mining company employees and their families.

After the town’s abandonment in the 1930s, the golf course fell into disrepair and was reclaimed by nature and is completely overgrown. Yet, it still serves as a fascinating reminder of the town’s once-thriving community life.
